Read my lips No new taxes.
Also in the last week I have upgraded to XP. I have to say I like it I have been using it at work for a few months now. I miss some of the functionality I had before running Win2k server, but XP is much faster for me. Now if I could only get the Timershot powertoy to recognize EITHER of the camera's I have attached...
In other news, we went to see Harry Potter last night. I do not believe I have seen a movie that was as faithful to the book as that one. And doing so they had to cram a lot into the short amount of time they had. Yes I say short amount of time, they only had less than two and a half hours. The movie could easily have been much much longer. They of course had to delete scenes that were in the book to get it accross. The only thing I think ended up lacking was the impression you got of Harry. I felt like you did not get a real good idea of how he just expected his life to be as horrible as it was. Though with the time they had they did show it as bad as it was. The character I liked most in the movie was Ron he was definitely able to get accross the character from the book with the time he had. And he was a fun character. I must say if you have not read the books, and want to take your kids to it. Go first yourselves if you have kids under 8. There ARE scary parts. If you have read the book, you should know what they are, the movie is true to them and you should be able to judge whether your child can actually see the bad things they heard about in the book.
Well its been over a week, sorry for the lack of writing its been a very very busy week around here. Lets see we had a major code release at work that kind of blew up in our faces, as apparently there was a mis-communication between our company and the other. Then the other company apparently did not consider this as high a priority as we did. Which really makes it fun if your company does and you cannot do a damn thing about it. Luckily I did not end up working as much as my boss and one of the developers did. Speaking of that its cool to see a boss that will with their workers working late, even when he/she cannot do anything.
