Yes I know I am really not doing a good job of posting a lot. Sorry, its a time thing. Usually I do not have time at work, as I am actually doing work (DAMN THEM!). And at home there just has not been a lot. Dunno if that will change or not. I am getting "more time to myself" on the weekends as the kids have soccer which the wife takes them to, while I watch the little one (she is the assistant coach), and on Sundays they are duly religious and go off to service. My oldest daughter actually is in the children's choir, so they have to meet before service. So I get that time to myself, cept as I mentioned that I had to watch the little one on Saturday, not bad when she takes a nap. Course what did I end up doing this last weekend? Finishing the staining of the deck (or so I thought), installing a light, mowing the lawn, and doing some wiring. Well the stuff needed to get done. Speaking of wiring I setup a network drop for our newly acquired ReplayTV. So far I think the Tivo and the ReplayTV end up evening out feature wise. Tivo has a much better system for recording reoccurring shows, as it can find them no matter the day or the time, and will not grab repeats if you do not wish. Whereas the picture quality I see as being better for the various quality settings. Tivo has the bounce back for a fast forward, whereas ReplayTV automagically skips the commercials. Anyway it evens out. Now I am looking at pulling the video off of my ReplayTV onto my PC. They still have not worked out putting a regular (non-replay derived mpg) mpg file onto the ReplayTV, but give them time.
