We received our Tax refund already. My wife is really into getting that filed as early as possible. So we paid some things off, and we got, what I consider my Christmas present, a Tivo. I have to say I love it. Its wonderful, watching TV is definitely a different experience, rather than the commercials and the shows control you you control it. I was able to find a show I never get to watch anymore, Doctor Who, and setup a season pass, so now its just gonna be Tivo'd all the time and all I have to do is find the 40 minutes to watch it. Great. Two issues though, first it seems to hiccup sometimes when controlling the cable box, i.e. it doesn't change the channel right. Kind of irritating. Second, I wish you had a bit more control over the Tivo Suggestions. Like being able to tell it, sure go ahead grab suggestions, but only from 11pm till 7am, otherwise we could be watching the TV and you changing it would be a pain. And better yet if you could do a mass delete of the Suggestions. Or maybe if you could browse the suggestions, and then check off what you actually thought yeah that might be good. Otherwise the system tends to like to eat up diskspace. And although I know a couple people who have hacked theirs to put in more diskspace. I do not want to do that...

Sorry for the lack of posts, thats what happens when you get busy I guess... Went to the movies this weekend, we saw Ocean's Eleven. Pretty good film, much better than I was expecting as I heard all the, who makes a remake of a bad film complaints. It was funny, not roll on the floor funny, but funny, it was entertaining, and it had some twists that you probably would not guess. All in all a fun movie. Doesn't mean you need to see it on the big screen though, but if you want to go out I would recommend it.
